More action will be added to the CBS Sports Network featuring five games in Week 4 of the college football season. Running Friday night through Saturday, this week’s lineup features games from across the country to give you a better sense of what’s going on in Conference USA, MAC, and Mountain West.

The first will be the showdown between Boise State and UTEP on Friday night, followed by the Buffalo and Eastern Michigan MAC contests early on Saturday. His FIU will be held in Western Kentucky in the afternoon, and he will be looking to his 3-1 record this season. Mountain West foes Utah and her UNLV then tangle in the evening window, while western Michigan and San Jose cap things off in a late-night battle.

The first few weeks of the season were a reminder of just how unpredictable college football can be. As conference play begins to ramp up, it’s only going to get more intense, with more thrilling finishes and unexpected results.

story: Boise State seems to have successfully ended a disastrous season-opening loss to Oregon State with wins over New Mexico and Tennessee Martin in the past two weeks. But the Broncos still haven’t hummed aggressively and didn’t pull away from the Skyhawks until the fourth quarter last week. After suffering a six-year bowl drought last season, UTEP is struggling to a 1-3 mark to start his 2022 season. The Miners outscored New Mexico last week, but lost 27-10 for seven turnovers.

Buffalo vs. Eastern Michigan

story: It’s been a frustrating start to the season for Buffalo, who are down 3-0 after losing 38-26 to the Coastal Carolina last week. The Bulls were in the game late in the fourth quarter, but defensive predicament reappeared as Chanticleers averaged his 9.5 yards per play. Eastern His Michigan is looking to qualify for his fourth bowl in the last five seasons under coach Chris Clayton after his 30-21 blowout win over Arizona State last week.

story: Western Kentucky is looking to recover from a disastrous 33-30 overtime loss in Indiana. The Panthers are 1-1 under his coach, first-year Mike McIntyre, but are looking for their first win over an FBS opponent. Western Kentucky must avoid getting ahead of next week’s big game against Sun Belt nemesis Troy, with quarterback Austin Reed, transferred from Division II West Florida, making his first 3 at the FBS level. story: Western Michigan fell to 1-2 in a 34-13 loss to Pittsburgh last week as the Broncos gained only 180 total yards.
