As you may have seen in the past four weeks, Kansas Football is currently 4-0 to start the season after a 35-27 victory over the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday. But achieving this undefeated record was no easy task.
Luckily for the Jayhawks, they are no strangers to this adversity.
In their final two games, Kansas started each game with holes 14-0. Kansas met the challenge head-on, picking up two wins on the road to improve to 3-0 before facing the Blue Devils.
“I think we’ve handled adversity very well. Dealing with adversity no matter what is something we insisted on in the offseason,” said junior quarterback Jaron Daniels. ”We could go out there and play Kansas football.”
In those two games, Daniels threw for a combined six touchdowns, 2 points left Kansas State is on its way to a double-digit win streak.he tallied 5 total touchdowns On Saturday alone, they led Kansas to victory and continued their undefeated streak.
The Jayhawks knew that winning a game would not be easy, let alone all their previous games.
“It’s good to know that the amount of preparation we put in is paying off,” Daniels said. I need to be able to get out and run.”
The Jayhawks know what they can do, but many have questions about a team that has gotten off to such a good start over a decade. If the expectations surrounding Kansas football are to change, it must begin with production on the field.
And its production is plentiful, with teams ranking among the nation’s best in points per game, earning 48.5 per contest. The City of Lawrence, like the country as a whole, is beginning to see changes in everything on this team.
“People are paying attention. They’re seeing the change,” said coach Lance Leipold. “We had a big group here today.

The Jayhawks have already won four in four games this season, double the two wins Leipold had last season in Kansas’ first season with the team. Kansas fans shouldn’t expect their team to win, they should.
“We are now talking about having to go out on the field expecting to win, not hoping to win. We talk about things and what we have to play and what we have to do,” Leipold said.
Winning football games is now the expectation for the Kansas Jayhawks. A winless season, such as the 2020 0-9 season and his 0-12 season 2015 seasoncoming out of the rear-view mirror.
The Jayhawks want to see an even more packed crowd at the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium as Kansas looks forward to hosting Big 12 conference rival Iowa State on Oct. 1 at 2:30 p.m. I think.
“Hopefully, today’s performance will give enough people a reason to come back here next week.
